Why on earth am I even bothering?
I am arguing with someone who is convinced that a person under the age of 35 that is on benefits, amounting to at the most £5520 in a year if they’re not disabled, somehow earns more than the average person in the UK, who earns £24,000 a year.
Granted, most people earn less, roughly £18,000 a year, but to even try to argue that this is less than what someone on benefits gets is just ignorant and pure bollocks.
But hey, the woman used her racist-ass ‘I have seen a documentary about an immigrant who gets £26,000 in benefits every year and she’s never worked, so I must be right’ card, so I’m more or less beyond even trying to argue with the bigot.
