Anonymous asked: I had this really cool idea for the native community of tumblr, basically everybody translates "My culture is not a trend" into their native language and then somebody with good calligraphy puts it all together. It might be a nice thing to be used to raise awareness about Cultural Appropriation (and also to raise awareness about the large number of endangered languages, who knows it might inspire a few people to learn them!)
This is a brilliant idea and I am definitely up for it! Sadly I haven’t got the foggiest how I would say “trend” in South Saami, but I will do my best to find out how to translate your sentence and when I know, I will post about it on Tumblr.
We could definitely do pins or stickers, it’d be quite nice actually!
